The wreck identified as the AURORA is located at coordinates 42 39.515 N, 18 4.96 E, situated off the coast of Montenegro in the Adriatic Sea. Historical survey data from the UK Hydrographic Office previously tracked this underwater obstruction, which was initially marked by orange buoys under reference HH377/430/01. Following subsequent maritime surveys and cross-referencing with Croatian nautical charts, the wreck of the AURORA was officially amended to dead and removed from official navigation charts in 2001. As of the latest updates, the site at 42 39.515 N, 18 4.96 E is no longer considered an active underwater hazard to shipping.
