BUILT IN 1910 BY BREMER VULKAN. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY LLOYD BRASILEIRO. QUADRUPLE- EXPANSION ENGINE OF 388NHP. PASSAGE LOURENCO MARQUES FOR BUENOS AIRES. DURING A STORM SIGNALLED SHE HAD LOST THE RUDDER THEN SENT A MAYDAY. NOTHING ELSE WAS HEARD FROM THE SHIP. (DODS).
