BUILT IN 1881 BY J L THOMPSON & SONS, SUNDERLAND. OWNED AT THE TIME OF LOSS BY J HOPPER, SUNDERLAND. PASSAGE SEAHAM FOR ST NAZAIRE. SANK WHILE UNDER TOW OF STEAM TUG 'DOMINION' AFTER BEING DAMAGED DURING A COLLISION WITH GERMAN BARQUE 'PIRAT'. (SIBI).
