The shipwreck Archon Raphael is located at coordinates 11 41.17 N, 43 11.65 E. Historical hydrographic survey records document the wreck status and depth changes over time following its initial sinking. The site was originally marked by a conical buoy, which was later removed when the least depth over the wreck was recorded at 1 meter and subsequently updated to 5 meters in a general water depth of 20 meters. Survey reports note that the wreck structure has broken in two, with the break occurring immediately abaft the structure. Position updates from French hydrographic records refined the location to its current coordinates.
