VESSEL, BUILT 1958 BY HITACHI ZOSEN, INNOSHIMA. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY APOLLONIAN WAVE, CO., S.A. ON PASSAGE FROM FALMOUTH FOR SAN ESTEBAN DE PRAVIA. ABANDONED OFF MIMIZAN S OF BORDEAUX DURING A STORM. TAKEN IN TOW BUT BROKE FREE DURING CONTUINUOUS HEAVY WEATHER. CREW RESCUED. VESSEL DRIFTED & EVENTUALLY GROUNDED. DECLARED A CONSTRUCTIVE TOTAL LOSS. (MSD).
