VESSEL WAS BEACHED IN SHALLOW WATER, REFLOATED ON 28.5.81 & OIL ON BOARD PUMPED OUT. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY MANUNITED CIA NAV S.A., SHE WAS DECLARED A TOTAL LOSS & WAS TOWED TO FUJAIRAH ANCHORAGE. SHE WAS LAID UP & USED AS A SLOP VESSEL, UNTIL SOLD TO A PAKISTANI SHIPBREAKER IN 1984, DEMOLITION BEGAN AT GADANI BEACH IN JAN'85. (MSD)
