Simplified Wreck Survey

Underwater obstruction located near Puerto San Antonio, Argentina, at coordinates 40 47.722 S, 64 53.381 W. This site consists of an anchor and 50 meters of steel cable associated with the former MV Plod. The obstruction is situated approximately 160 meters from the SW Beacon at Muelle Este in the San Antonio Oeste area. Data derived from UK Hydrographic Office records and Argentine Notice to Mariners 63/86, originally reported as H4837/71. The site is identified as an underwater hazard to navigation.
