Simplified Wreck Survey

The wreck of the ship AMAZONE is located off the coast of France near Ile aux Moutons at coordinates 47 45.35 N, 4 3.88 W. The vessel sank in 1962 and was subsequently located by divers at a general depth of 27 meters with a clearance of less than 20 meters. Historical hydrographic surveys noted the obstruction as a dangerous wreck before it was officially deleted from active charts in 2002.
