General Comments

H11689/2007-- S-W920-NRT4-07; A large submerged wreck debris was seen on SSS. Also investigated with VBES and found least depth of 32 feet. Location of submerged wreck is 41/31/13.612 - 081/42/57.875. From Michiganshipwrecks.com and Alcheminc.com, the wreck is a 285' to 288' schooner and was carring a cargo of iron ore when it sank. The sites also gave location of the wreck. Hydrographer from AHB suggested that Ohio State Historic Preservation Office be contacted and defer the final charting disposition to MCD. (Entered CEH 8/2008)
