10.12.87 BUILT 1974 BY K.K. USUKI FEKKOSHO, USUKI. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY NICHIRO GYOGYO K.K. CAUGHT FIRE 10.12.87 WHEN FUEL LINE IN ENGINE ROOM CRACKED AND LEAKED. WAS ABANDONED BY CREW, TAKEN IN TOW BUT EVENTUALLY SANK SOME 12 DAYS LATER. (MSD).
