STRANDED ON THE BROTHERS. (LLOYDS) LOST DURING A MOORING PROCEDURE WHILE TRANSPORTING TROOPS TO ALEXANDRIA. (DIVER MAGAZINE FEB '99) BUILT 1911 BY A & CH DE LA LOIRE, NANTES, WITH 3 CYLINDER TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINE OF 1200NHP, SPECIFICALLY FOR THE EGYPTIAN PORTS & LTHO ADMINISTRATION. VEESEL WAS TRANSFERRED TO EGYPTIAN MARINA TO TRANSPORT TROOPS. (MAJOR NED MIDDLETON)
