BUILT IN 1909 BY CALEDON SHIPBUILDING & ENGINEERING CO, DUNDEE. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY YEOWARD LINE LTD (AGUILAS SS CO). TWO BOILERS, TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINE OF 278 NHP, SINGLE SHAFT. PASSAGE LIVERPOOL FOR LISBON AND CANARY ISLANDS. CAPTURED BY U-28 AND SUNK BY GUNFIRE AND TORPEDO. BROKE IN TWO AND SANK. 7 LIVES LOST. (LLWW1, WW1SL, DODS & SIBI).
