Circumstances of loss

VESSEL, BUILT 1926 BY CHANTIERS & ATELIERS DE ST NAZAIRE, TOOK ON WATER IN HEAVY SEAS AND SANK AFTER AN EXPLOSION OCCURRED IN THE ENGINE ROOM. WAS ON VOYAGE CONSTANTZA FOR ANTWERP. ALL CREW SAVED. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY G TZORTZIS & K & P SYKIAS. (MSD).
