The Agios Minas is an underwater wreck located at coordinates 55 42.096 N, 6 30.656 W off the coast of Islay in the west of Scotland. The vessel lies parallel to the shore and is well broken up, with the stern section resting approximately 125 yards off the rocks. Originally reported in 1968, the wreck was sold to be broken up before being documented as heavily fragmented in 1996.

Circumstances of loss

STRANDED IN THE NIGHT AND SUBSEQUENT REFLOATING ATTEMPTS FAILED. DECK CARGO & CARGO IN AFTER HOLDS LOST. ABOUT 400TONS TIMBER SALVAGED FROM FORWARD HOLDS. CREW OF 16 RESCUED BY ISLAY LIFEBOAT. PASSAGE ARCHANGEL TO BRISTOL.
