The wreck of the vessel ADA is located at coordinates 64 16 N, 15 2.5 W off the coast of Iceland. Following a formal data re-assessment, the historical position of this underwater obstruction was amended to these coordinates to reflect its accurate location. The wreck site is currently classified as dead and the area has been officially marked on Icelandic nautical charts, including chart 81 INT 1102 and chart 82. This underwater site remains a recorded feature for maritime navigation and hydrographic surveying purposes in the waters surrounding Iceland.
