VESSEL, BUILT 1949 BY SHORT BROS., SUNDERLAND. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY ACHAIKA SHIPPING CO., S.A. ON PASSAGE FROM SETE TO IZMIR. RAN AGROUND ON ROCKS OFF RAZZOLI ISLAND DURING VIOLENT STORM. ALL CREW SAFE. VESSEL WAS ABANDONED AS TOTAL LOSS. (LLOYDS VOL.198 & MSD).
