Historical hydrographic survey records from the UK Hydrographic Office note that the vessel sank on February 29, 1988, while on passage from Ostend to the Downs carrying refugees. Earlier survey files from 1940 and 1945 referenced approximate positions in the area, but subsequent chart evaluations determined the wreck status as dead and non-dangerous with no trace currently shown on modern navigational charts.
